KEY OBJECTIVES

  • Debate the current and novel strategies regarding the medical and surgical management of ovarian cancer and other gynecological cancers and the evolving treatments in these fields
  • Discuss the cellular subsets that effect the tumor microenvironment
  • Deliberate the strategies to aid in earlier detection and a better prognosis in gynecological malignancies • Discuss the correlation between genetic alterations and their clinical behavior in ovarian, cervical, and endometrial cancer
  • Assess current PARP inhibitors including olaparib, niraparib, veliparib, talazoparib, and rucaparib and examine their role in multiple lines of therapy and maintenance therapy
  • Evaluate the role of anti-VEGF bevacizumab as first-line therapy and maintenance therapy
  • Deliberate the role of epigenetics, EZH2 inhibitors, and immunotherapy, and their use in combination therapy
  • Discuss moving beyond the standard therapy for relapsed/resistant ovarian cancer
  • Deliberate on the optimal treatments for BRCA-proficient or deficient ovarian cancer
  • Assess the current use of Taxol/Carbo therapies in ovarian cancer and discuss treatment strategies for platinum-sensitive/resistant cancers
  • Discuss adjuvant and systemic therapy for uterine and cervical cancer
